1. Who we are

CoffeeScope (“we”), operated by Lasse Thomsen in Denmark, is the data controller for personal data processed through www.coffeescope.dk. Contact: hello@coffeescope.dk.

2. What we collect

Beta signup: your email address, and optionally your country and selected use cases, plus your consent choice and its timestamp.
Usage analytics (first-party, cookieless): a random session identifier stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie), the pages and features you interact with (e.g. running an experiment, opening a layer), a coarse country derived from your IP address, and your browser user-agent.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

3. Why we process it (purposes & legal bases)

Managing the beta and contacting you about it — legal basis: your consent (given at signup; withdrawable at any time).
Understanding product usage to improve CoffeeScope — legal basis: our legitimate interest in first-party, privacy-preserving analytics that set no non-essential cookies.

4. Who we share it with (processors)

Resend — sends our transactional and beta emails. Your email address is processed by Resend to deliver these messages.
Our hosting provider, which stores the data on our behalf.

Some processors may transfer data outside the EU/EEA (e.g. to the United States); where they do, transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep beta-signup data until the beta ends or you ask us to delete it, and analytics events for a limited period needed to understand product usage. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, request portability, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise these rights, email hello@coffeescope.dk. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).

7. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
